TeamStaff Rx Awarded JCAHO Certification
Clearwater, FL – TeamStaff Rx, a wholly owned subsidiary of TeamStaff Inc. (NASDAQ: TSTF) has achieved the Gold Seal of ApprovalTM for health care staffing services from The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (“JCAHO”).
The JCAHO review included inspection of TeamStaff Rx’s pre-screening and credentialing processes, performance evaluations, education processes and information management systems practices. The on-site review addresses compliance with national standards and evaluates how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff’s performance.

The ongoing shortages of nurses and other health care professionals has driven health care organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms like TeamStaff Rx. The Joint Commission’s certification program, launched in October 2004, offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s ability to provide competent staffing services.
